Q&A

Why do you charge for your services?

I have been in the music industry for a long time. Before God drew me to Himself I was a background singer for several accomplished artists in Atlanta. I also made a number of TV appearances under the alias Denise Faith. Upon feeling called to solely sing and rap about God, I took on a lot of great non-paid opportunities, participated in a number of challenges, and various projects over the years. In addition to my in-the-field training, I continued my education in Music at Toccoa Falls College where I refined my vocal, guitar, and piano, as well as flute talents. While at Toccoa I was classically trained as a vocalist and pianist. To be frank, I love what I do and whom I do it for and coming alongside other artists whom God has called to be a light in this dark world, but I will no longer do it for free. I've heard it said, that I need to just be obedient to what God has called me to and God will provide, but consider this; you may be the one God is using to provide. Money is not evil, the love of it is. I have years of experience, secondary education in music, and God-given talent. As most of you know College is not free, studio time is not free, and in-home studio equipment is not free; I don't charge much for my services, but I deliver top-tier results.

Is the split sheet negoitable?

Not really, however, I will consider other arrangements. For example, if you didn't want to give me 20% in streaming we can increase the collab fee to $90 instead of $60.

How to split streaming?

Most online distributors, such as distrokid.com have a way for you to split streaming royalties. If you are on distrokid, you would need to select "Splits" (https://distrokid.com/teams/)  in the menu and follow the instructions from there.
